For three weeks each August, Camp Escapades opens its doors to children with disabilities including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and other developmental delays. Camper's siblings are also welcome to attend which makes for a wonderful family experience. Camp attendance has grown to now include 350 campers and over 700 volunteers and staff members.

The campers at Camp Escapades enjoy sports, music and dance classes, arts and crafts, and special events like petting zoo, carnival day and waterslide Wednesdays. Each young camper is escorted throughout the day by a camp "buddy". This unique one-to-one ratio is made possible by the hundreds of area youth who volunteer their summer days to spend with the campers.
